Paul Zanowiak, PhD

Dr. Paul Zanowiak had a distinguished 40-year career in pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical education at Temple University School of Pharmacy. He earned a master’s degree in pharmacology from Rutgers University and a Ph.D. in pharmaceutics from the University of Florida. A dedicated member of the profession, he was also a proud brother of Kappa Psi.

During his tenure at Temple, Dr. Zanowiak held several leadership roles, including professor of pharmaceutics, department chair, and acting dean and director of continuing education. He also contributed to academia as a faculty member at West Virginia University. In recognition of his professional achievements, he was included in Who’s Who of American Men of Science.

In addition to his academic and administrative work, Dr. Zanowiak was deeply committed to public service. He served on the Jenkintown School Board for more than 20 years, reflecting a long-standing dedication to education and community engagement.
