Born and raised in Central Vietnam, Minh Hoang emigrated to the United States with his family in 1995 at the age of twenty, determined to build a better future through education, hard work, and endurance. That journey led him to the Temple University School of Pharmacy, where he was accepted in 1999 and graduated in 2003.

Grateful for the opportunities he received, he has devoted his career to giving back to the profession. He spent more than ten years as a retail pharmacy manager, leading teams, improving operations, and strengthening patient-centered care in the community. A dedicated preceptor, he has mentored pharmacy students and helped them build confidence and clinical judgment. Today, he continues to serve patients as a staff pharmacist, committed to medication safety, accessibility, and compassionate care.

In 2021, Minh established the Hoang and Tang Family Scholarship Fund to honor his father and the values he instilled: perseverance, generosity, and belief in education. Supporting Temple students through scholarship remains among his proudest achievements, and he remains committed to uplifting the next generation of Temple pharmacists.
