125 Acts of Service

As part of our celebration, our current Temple Pharmacy students have decided to challenge themselves to complete 125 Acts of Service in the communities we serve. This includes public health education events, volunteer immunization drives, community blood pressure and diabetes monitoring, and more!

Follow along as we share the progress toward their goal.

Progress as of February 23

In the first month of our challenge, Temple Pharmacy students completed five service projects in their communities:

  • NCPA hosted a blood pressure screening clinic
  • Students provided blood pressure and DASH diet education at a CVS location
  • SNPhA hosted a Health and Wellness Community Day
  • PPHSO distributed resources about medication adherence at Zion Baptist Church's MLK Day of Service event
  • A TUSP student volunteered at the Northeast Community Fridge by checking in on the fridge and pantry, restocking food, and helping with any behind-the-scenes needs
