Paul Mudrick's career in healthcare began in Chester, Pennsylvania, in the apartment above his parents' family pharmacy at 9th and Central Avenue, where he learned integrity, hard work, intellectual curiosity, and service to others from a family devoted to its community.
After graduating from the Temple University School of Pharmacy in 1960, he expanded the family pharmacy and went on to develop and lead more than 24 diversified healthcare businesses. As president and
CEO, he consolidated them into a series of successful acquisitions by four major publicly traded companies. In 1993, he founded Central HealthCare Group, LLC, a Philadelphia-based healthcare investment banking and advisory firm, completing more than 99 transactions across the United States and China, valued at over $703 million.
For decades, he has also been a trusted adviser to healthcare entrepreneurs, helping them navigate challenges and build sustainable organizations. His relationship with Temple has come full circle: in honor of the parents who inspired his path, he established The Irene and Harry S. Mudrick '26 Scholarship Fund, a future endowment supporting TUSP students in financial need.
