What makes the RAQA program the best academic program of its kind?  Answer: Our incredibly talented and dedicated faculty, many of whom who have taught for us for 20 or more years, helping to shape and develop the curriculum. With so many excellent instructors from industry and FDA, it would be difficult to name all of them without publishing a small volume about their great courses. Here are a few highlights of our Summer 2025 offerings.  

We welcome two new instructors and courses this summer!  

If you're interested n learning more about Investigations in Industry (including internal, quality and criminal Investigations), enroll in the new course on the topic created by Professor Banaszewski on Monday nights. You'll discover what triggers investigations and why they are so critical in ensuring product safety and efficacy.  

Or, consider taking our new course on Inspection Readiness taught by Professor Pittman, who has over 20 years of experience with the U.S. FDA. This 1.5 credit course will be held over 7 weeks, ending July 1. 

In addition, there's a new section of Case Studies - Analyzing Mainstream Pharmaceutical Literature for 1.5 credits, taught by the amazing Professor Zimm. This summer the focus is on Kill Shot:  A Shadow Industry, A Deadly Disease. This course runs from June 5 through July 17, giving you a longer break after the spring semester and another before the fall. You'll spend classes networking with other students as you develop critical thinking skills that will serve you well throughout your industry career. Don't wait to enroll:  it's sure to fill quickly. .

We welcome Professor Collentro, a celebrated global authority on High Purity Water Systems in pharmaceutical plants.  Whether you're in QA or the Pharmaceutical Regulatory Sciences MS degree program, this is a fantastic chance to learn about the many considerations and complexities of water systems used in pharmaceutical plants from the top expert in the field.  Don't miss this unique opportunity.

Professor Hisey returns to offer his excellent and very popular course on Pharmaceutical Marketing, which covers both the business and regulatory aspects that are unique to the pharmaceutical industry. 

Also back by popular demand is Professor Hayes's course on Good Distribution Practices, which examines the many issues of the global supply chain, which includes topics such as disruptions, compliance challenges, supply chain transparency, and maintaining cold chain integrity. Don't miss the opportunity to expand your knowledge of this growing area of concern.

You can also learn more about the rapidly expanding field of biopharmaceuticals.  RAQA is proud of its outstanding industry professionals with distinguished careers in this area, who continue to teach the latest trends, insights, regulatory and manufacturing issues.  Professor Diana returns to offer his very popular course on Biologics/Biosimilars: A Regulatory Overview.

 If you miss the camaraderie, networking, and discussions of on-campus courses, consider taking Professor Sax’s new course on Pharmaceutical Regulatory Leadership, which will be a hybrid course offered at our Ft Washington site on Wednesday afternoons with meetings also online.. It will include networking and stimulating group workshops, designed to help you become a regulatory leader.

Did you know RAQA created the first certificate and degree programs in Global Pharmacovigilance? You can learn more about this important topic by taking one of the introductory courses in the field, Clinical Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance, taught by the very popular Professor Robinson.
