Billing for Remote Students (RAQA)

Once a semester schedule is posted on this website, registration is officially open. Registration forms will be processed by the RAQA Office as soon as they are received, provided all information is complete and there are no holds on the student's account.

Start and end dates of each semester are included on the RAQA  Schedule of Online Classes each semester. Please read the schedule carefully, checking for exam dates and make-up dates.

HOW TO REGISTER
Please complete and forward:

  • The registration form for online courses);
  • All required paperwork;
  • A state residency form (new students only, unless you moved from one state to another).

Submit materials via email () or fax (267.468.8565).

The sooner you forward your materials, the better your chance of getting the class you want. Only complete registration forms hold a spot. Forms are prioritized in the order received.

Sorry, but if you have financial or academic holds, we cannot process your registration, and you will lose your spot in line. Please take care of holds before registering.

  • A state residency form;

All Students
We will process your registration form as soon as it is received. You will be sent a confirmation email as soon as your registration form is processed.

New students will be notified of their TUid (a unique student number) and directions for creating a Temple AccessNet Username and Password. Please follow the directions carefully.

TUITION BILLS

We will post the date that tuition bills are due each semester.  Regardless of when you register, tuition bills are due on the specified date. Please refer to the dates listed on the RAQA Schedule of Classes each semester. If you do not pay your fall or spring tuition bill in full by that date, you will automatically be enrolled in the University's Deferred Payment plan and assessed a $50 non-refundable payment plan fee which defers the final payment by several weeks. If you do not pay your bill by that second due date, you will be charged a $100 late fee.

The deferred payment plan is not available during summer semesters.

Consult the Bursar's website for details. All bills must be paid in full by the stipulated date or additional fees are imposed.

Temple's Bursar's Office will email your tuition statement to your TUmail account. To confirm the due date of your bill, go into Banner, click Student Account, and then TUPAY.

For questions about tuition bills, consult the Temple's Bursar's Office.

PROCTORING
All RA and QA courses, regardless of format, require at least one proctored exam. Students are expected to take exams on the date designated on the RAQA Schedule of Classes.

Make sure you are able to attend classes (including makeup dates) and take the proctored exam on the stipulated date. There is a $25.00 charge the first time a student requests a change in the proctored exam date. In subsequent semesters, that fee increases to $50.00 for the second missed exam, $100 for the third, and then $150 per missed exam. For more information on Proctoring and Fees for Changing Exam Dates, click here.

Any student requesting a makeup exam must provide documentation of an emergency situation which precludes the student from taking the proctored exam on the scheduled date.

REFRESH THIS PAGE
Our schedules are subject to change. Always hit Refresh when opening the RAQA homepage. Many web browsers (Internet Explorer and Netscape) show a cache or earlier version of a website from the first time you viewed the page. You must hit Refresh to see updates.

TEXTBOOKS
We list ISBN numbers of required texts as a convenience. Instructors may change required texts or update the editions of required books. We suggest waiting until the first class meeting before purchasing texts. The RAQA Office is not responsible for refunds, returns, or shipping costs of texts for any reason such as instructors changing texts, a course is cancelled or changed, a student drops a course, or the listed instructor is changed.
