Billing for Remote Students (RAQA)

Once a semester schedule is posted on this website, registration is officially open. Registration forms will be processed by the RAQA Office as soon as they are received, provided all information is complete and there are no holds on the student's account.

Weeknight Spring 2025 courses begin January 21. Weekend courses begin January 18. Please read the schedule carefully, checking for exam dates and make-up dates.

TUITION BILLS

We will post the date that tuition bills are due each semester.  Regardless of when you register, tuition bills are due on the specified date. Spring tuition bills are due on January 23, 2025.  If you do not pay your bill in full by that date, you will automatically be enrolled in the Deferred Payment plan, which costs $50.00.  That enables you to pay your bill by March 6.  If you do not pay your bill by March 6, you will be charged a $100 late fee.

If you only pay a portion of your bill in the fall and spring semesters, you will automatically be enrolled in the University's Deferred Payment Plan and assessed a $50 non-refundable payment plan fee. Consult the Bursar's website for details. All bills must be paid in full by the stipulated date or additional fees are imposed.

Temple's Bursar's Office will email your tuition statement to your TUmail account. To confirm the due date of your bill, go into Banner, click Student Account, and then TUPAY.

For questions about tuition bills, consult the Temple's Bursar's Office.

PROCTORING
All RA and QA courses, regardless of format, require at least one proctored exam. Students are expected to take exams on the date designated on the RAQA Schedule of Classes.

Make sure you are able to attend classes (including makeup dates) and take the proctored exam on the stipulated date. There is a $25.00 charge the first time a student requests a change in the proctored exam date. In subsequent semesters, that fee increases to $50.00 and then $100.00 per exam. For more information on Proctoring and Fees for Changing Exam Dates, click here.

Any student requesting a makeup exam must provide documentation of an emergency situation which precludes the student from taking the proctored exam on the scheduled date.

TEXTBOOKS
We list ISBN numbers of required texts as a convenience. Instructors may change required texts or update the editions of required books. We suggest waiting until the first class meeting before purchasing texts. The RAQA Office is not responsible for refunds, returns, or shipping costs of texts for any reason such as instructors changing texts, a course is cancelled or changed, a student drops a course, or the listed instructor is changed.
