Fall Schedule 2021 Notes (RAQA)

Fall 2021 registration is officially open.  Weeknight courses start Monday, Sept 13. Weekend courses start Sept 11.

Registration forms are processed as soon as they are received.  Register immediately to make sure you get your first choice in course selection.

TO REGISTER please complete:

  • The registration form for online course
  • All required paperwork
  • A state residency form (new students only, unless you moved from one state to another).

Submit materials via email (QARAREG@temple.edu) or fax (267.468.8565).

Continuing Students

  • Include your 9-digit TUid and TUmail on the registration form.
  • If you have financial or academic holds, we cannot process your registration.  Take care of holds immediately.

New Students - Include all of these items for your registration to be processed:

  • A signed resume;
  • Photocopiesof transcripts from all colleges or universities attended, or some other proof that you earned a degree;
  • A urrent, electronic (email) photo of yourself;
  • The password at the end of the online Zoom tutorial;
  • Intenational students must submit a photocopy of a WES report and TOEFL scores.

TUITION BILLS

Tuition bills are due on Sept 9.  If you do not pay your bill in full by that date, you will automatically be enrolled in the University's Deferred Payment plan and charged $50.  Tuition is then due in mid-October. 

Temple's Bursar's Office will send an email to your TUMail account about your tuition bill.  To check the due date of your bill, go into Banner, click Student Account, then TUPay.  All bills are due Sept 9.  

For questions about tuition bills, onsult the Temple's Bursar's Office.  Mail tuition payments to:  Bursar's Office, Temple University Ambler, 580 Meetinghouse Rd, Ambler, PA 19002.

PROCTORING

All RA and QA courses, regardless of format, require at least one proctored exam.  Students are expecte to take exams on the date designated on the RAQA Scheudle of Classes.

Make sure you are able to attend classes (including makeup dates) and are available to take the proctored exam on the scheduled date.  There is a $25.00 charge the first time a student requests a change in the proctored exam date.  The second time the fee increases to $35 per exam.  Subsequent times the fee increases to $50.00 per exam.  For more information on Proctoring and Fees for Changing Exam Dates, click here.

MAKE-UP DATES

Every RAQA course lists make-up dates in casse of unforeseen circumstances.  Students are reminded to reserve make-up dates, in case a faculty member needs to use one of the dates to cover class materials.

TEXTBOOKS

We list required texts as a convenience.  It is always possible that instructors may change required texts, update the edition, or add a book.  We sugggest waiting until the first class before purchasing texts.  The RAQA Officeis not responsible for refunds, returns or shipping costs of texts for any reason, such as instructors changing texts, courses being cancelled or changed, students dropping courses, or listed instructors changing.

You may purchase books from our Temple University Bookstore (phone 215.204.5578), which ships them directly to you.  Or, if you use the online form, search for Main Campus, then RAQA.
