TUSP launches a publication series, Legacies of Temple University School of Pharmacy, with the Renzulli Edition

A family legacy that began with an ambitious journey from Southern Italy to Philadelphia in 1910 inspired this launch of Legacies of Temple University School of Pharmacy, a series of publications recognizing lasting and impactful commitments and initiatives that have enriched and enhanced the quality of TUSP.

Mike Renzulli, PHR ’63 is known in business for creating the beauty supply powerhouse and industry mainstay, Sally Beauty. At TUSP, he is also known for being the third in a three-tier family legacy that began with his grandfather, Michele Renzulli, PHR ’18, who enrolled only six years after immigrating to the United States. Mike and his wife Vicky founded The Renzulli Family Scholarship Fund in honor of his family’s legacy. The Fund has granted awards to 65 deserving students since 2009. Mike’s father, Dante, PHR ’39, co-managed Renzulli’s Pharmacy, a community cornerstone at 65th and Haverford, for decades with his brother.

The Renzulli Edition of Legacies of Temple University School of Pharmacy is here as a nostalgic tip of the hat to a family who embodies Temple University’s founding value of creating opportunity through education and demonstrates admirable commitment and generosity to TUSP and its students.
