Call For Mentors: Mentors are needed for the 4th Annual TUSPAA/SSHP Mentor Night on Wednesday, March 20, 2019
The Temple University School of Pharmacy Alumni Association (TUSPAA) and the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacy (SSHP) are hosting the 4th Annual Mentor Night on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Student Faculty Center on the Health Sciences campus. We are calling for alumni, faculty, and local pharmacists to serve as mentors. All pharmacists are eligible.
The event is open to all students (PY1-PY4). Mentors will be grouped by area of pharmacy practice and will help students with career advice, interview practice, and/or CV review. Practice areas of interest include (but are not limited to) the following: hospital, academia, community, home infusion, compounding, industry, ambulatory care, managed care, consulting, specialty pharmacy, medication safety, long-term care, FDA, CMS, DEA, and medical marijuana.
Based on survey data, last year’s Mentor Night was rewarding for both students and mentors. In addition to developing the future pharmacy workforce, the event is an effective networking opportunity for all participants.
If you are interested in serving as a mentor, please fill out this short form no later than February 22, 2019.
If you have any questions or need assistance accessing the form, please reach out to Katie Battista at firstname.lastname@example.org.
