Temple Health Urgently Needs PPE

As the COVID-19 pandemic grows, area hospitals, including Temple University Hospital, are facing a shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). PPE, which includes items like masks, gloves, and face shields, is the first line of defense in keeping those caring for the sick safe and healthy.

Temple University Hospital (TUH) is actively soliciting donations of PPE. If you have prospects (or even personal connections) who have access to these materials, helping them get to TUH is one way we can make an immediate impact.

TUH has established a centralized donation process for PPE. If you have items to donate or want to direct someone to a contact for donations, please email covid19@tuhs.temple.edu and a member of the Temple Health team will respond.

Donations can also be dropped off at Temple University Hospital. Please bring donations to the front desk at the entrance at Broad and Ontario Streets (the circle). For information about mailing or shipping donations, please contact covid19@tuhs.temple.edu.

 Materials Needed:

N95 masks

Gowns - including surgical and isolation

Gloves – all sizes

Face shields

Tyvek coveralls

Hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes
