Research Focus & Practice

Dr. Nima Patel-Shori, PharmD, BCACP, is a Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP) with expertise in chronic disease state management and pharmacist-led interventions to improve patient outcomes. As an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist at Temple University Internal Medicine Associates, Dr. Patel-Shori collaborates closely with residents and attending physicians to provide comprehensive patient care. She also serves as a preceptor and mentor for fourth-year pharmacy students and residents, offering hands-on experience in chronic disease management under collaborative practice agreements. In her role as a faculty member at Temple University School of Pharmacy, Dr. Patel-Shori teaches second- and third-year pharmacy students on a variety of clinical topics, including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, angina, stroke, and women's health. Her commitment to education and research continues to shape future pharmacists while advancing the role of clinical pharmacy in improving patient care.
