Train with iconic pharmacists.

Experiential education can be the most inspiring part of pharmacy school. You will gain academic credit while training in hospitals, schools, pharmaceutical companies, health insurance companies, and more.

Years 1-3

You will participate in Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE), faculty-guided learning opportunities in real work environments. You will develop the technical and professional practice skills you need to be prepared and effective in various work environments. These experiences help ensure success in Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) and beyond graduation.

Year 4

Your final year will be spent completing APPE curriculum, including four required rotations (community practice, ambulatory care, inpatient, institutional) and two elective rotations (specialty care or non-patient care), all six weeks in duration. While APPEs often mark the true beginning of your career after graduation, every experience contributes to you becoming the pharmacist envision for yourself.
