PharmD Admission Myth vs. Fact

Myth:  You need to get an associate's or bachelor's degree before you start Temple's PharmD program.

Fact:  You only need to complete our prerequisite courses at any accredited college or university before the beginning of your first fall semester of Temple's PharmD program. It typically takes applicants two-three years to complete the prerequisites. You can also look into our direct admit Pre-Pharmacy program in Temple's College of Science and Technology and degree partnerships with other schools.

Why Choose Temple

Our graduates typically achieve a higher board exam pass rate than the national average.

In recent years, 80% or more of our students pursuing residencies after graduation succeeded with a placement.

We offer scholarships to most accepted applicants.

You can opt for elective tracks in Clinical Trials, Drug Safety, Advanced Clinical Practice, and Community Practice and dual PharmD/MBA or PharmD MS programs.
