Temple Pharmacy Mentor Night Connects Students with Alumni Across the Profession
Temple University School of Pharmacy brought together students and alumni for its annual Mentor Night on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, for an evening dedicated to career exploration, professional development, and the power of connection.
More than 40 alumni turned out to share their expertise and real-world experience with current student pharmacists, representing a broad cross-section of the profession. Alumni working in community pharmacy, hospital settings, the pharmaceutical industry, academia, managed care, and beyond offered firsthand guidance to students eager to learn about their chosen fields.
The event featured casual networking opportunities and structured breakout sessions designed to give students practical, career-ready skills. Topics included CV building and professional branding - two areas critical for students navigating the competitive pharmacy job market. The small-group format gave attendees the opportunity to ask questions directly and engage in candid conversations.
For many students, evenings like this offer something no classroom can replicate: the chance to hear honest advice from professionals who understand the journey from student pharmacist to practicing clinician or industry leader.
Temple Pharmacy's alumni network continues to be one of the school's greatest assets, and Mentor Night stands as a testament to the dedication of graduates who invest their time and knowledge back into the next generation of pharmacists.
