On Friday, December 19, 2025, Temple University School of Pharmacy (TUSP) was honored to welcome some very special guests to campus.

In collaboration with Heights Philadelphia, more than 70 seventh and eighth grade students and teachers from Conwell Middle School and Juanita Park Academy traveled to TUSP for a day of science exploration.

Funded by a grant from Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) as part of Temple Pharmacy’s “I Love Science!” Exploration Program, the day gave students the opportunity to discover different areas of science through three rotating breakout sessions. Taught by TUSP Faculty, each session was designed to spark curiosity and offer meaningful hands-on learning experiences.

Through this two year grant from BMS, TUSP hopes to offer additional sessions for other Philadelphia middle and high schools in the spring.
