Last month, graduate students from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Temple University's School of Pharmacy had the opporutnity to visit the Johnson & Johnson research facility in Spring House, PA. The visit provided an enriching opportunity for students to engage directly with a leading pharmaceutical company and gain firsthand insight into industrial research and development practices.
The itinerary included guided tours of various state-of-the-art laboratories where graduate students observed ongoing work in various fields of drug discovery and AI. In addition to the lab tours, the students participated in several informational sessions led by J&J scientists, covering topics such as early-stage drug discovery, regulatory strategies, and career pathways in the pharmaceutical industry.
Additionaly, students interacted with scientists and researchers at Johnson & Johnson for a networking event that provided valuable career advice and fostered professional connections.
