On Friday, May 9, 2025, the Temple School of Pharmacy (TUSP) proudly celebrated the Class of 2025 with a joyous Commencement ceremony. One hundred and fifty nine graduates of TUSP PharmD and graduate programs were honored by faculty, staff, mentors, friends, and family for their achievements at the Temple Performing Arts Center.
The Class of 2025 included 115 PharmD graduates, seven of whom earned a dual degree; two graduates of the MS in global clinical pharmacovigilance regulations; and 44 graduates of the MS in regulatory affairs and quality assurance program.
A keynote speech was given by Michael D. Hogue, PharmD, FAPhA, FNAP, FFIP, Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), who shared his three important truths about the pharmacy profession. He also announced that he will be covering the first year’s dues for all graduating pharmacists in the TUSP class of 2025 for membership in APhA.
Kathryn Fabbri, PharmD, and Sarah Uddin, PharmD, were honored as co-validictorians and shared their gratitude and hope for the future in their addresses. Additional speakers included S. Suresh Madhavan, PhD, MBA, FAPhA, Professor and Dean, TUSP; Silva Libohova, PharmD, President of the Doctor of Pharmacy Class of 2025; Elizabeth Kukielka, PharmD, MCW, CMPP, President of the TUSP Alumni Association; Michael Mancano, PharmD, Senior Vice Dean, TUSP; and Susan Kent Romann, PharmD, BCGP, Clinical Associate Professor, TUSP and Class Advisor.
