Research Focus & Practice
Dr. Michael J. Cawley expertise is in both critical care and pulmonary medicine. He is also a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT). His practice is focused on patients with chronic respiratory disease including asthma, COPD, sarcoidosis and pulmonary hypertension in the underserved population. His research and publications have been focused on patients with both critical illness and respiratory disease.
Key Interests: pulmonary disease; pulmonary function testing; mechanical ventilation and critical illness
