As part of their fourth year experiential year, pharmacy students can choose to complete an APPE rotation at Hillside Health Care Clinic in Eldridgeville, Belize.
Since 2000, Hillside Health Care has operated a year-round clinic in the Toledo District of Southern Belize, offering free services and medications to patients. Founded to address the district's unmet medical needs, the clinic collaborates with community leaders, government ministries, local organizations, and NGOs.
Students will participate on cross-discipline healthcare teams to provide care to patients through clinic visits, home health visits, and mobile clinics in remote villages.
