About the Temple University School of Pharmacy
The Temple University School of Pharmacy, established in 1901, carries more than a century’s worth of history and reliability in pharmacy education. Our programs, assets, and products support our ongoing success in creating opportunities to transform lives.
The School provides opportunities to earn degrees in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, and regulatory affairs and quality assurance and lead innovations in pharmacy practice and science. We promote and preserve pharmacy and pharmacy-related professions by delivering excellence and opportunity through education, scholarship, research, and practice.
Our campus is in a pharmaceutical industry and healthcare hot spot. Students benefit from the School's long-standing connections across the job marketplace as well as from the infrastructure of Temple University.
In 2010, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching recognized Temple as one of only 99 public and private universities to merit the "Research Universities/High Research Activity" classification. Our research operations go far beyond the lab. Three biotech startups have emerged from the School and are positioned to change the course of medical treatment of major disease states.
