The National Pharmacy Leadership Society Inducts 20 Members
On Thursday, February 25, 2021, the Temple University School of Pharmacy Chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma, the National Pharmacy Leadership Society (PLS), virtually inducted 20 new members. You can watch a recording of the ceremony now.
PLS promotes the development of leadership qualities at the School of Pharmacy. In addition to its annual Induction Ceremony, PLS hosts the Welcome Back BBQ, Cultural Diversity Day, Faculty Appreciation Day, Pharmacy Week, and more. PLS also develops a mentorship program for the incoming first year students. PLS also released a newsletter in February 2021.
To become a PLS member, one must be nominated by a peer after completing the first professional year and demonstrate dedication to service and leadership in the advancement of pharmacy. Many PLS members hold leadership roles in the School's other 30-plus student organizations.
