Following a thorough review and self-study process, Temple University School of Pharmacy’s Continuing Professional Education program has received full accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Continuing Pharmacy Education Commission and the ACPE Board of Directors. This reaccreditation is effective for the next six years, until January 31, 2032. The program met all applicable standards and policies.
The mission of the Office of Continuing Pharmacy Education (OCPE) is to provide evidence-based professional development activities that help Temple University School of Pharmacy (TUSP) faculty, TUSP mentors, and Temple University Health System (TUHS) pharmacists maintain and advance their knowledge and skills to achieve the professional competencies needed to provide high quality pharmacy services.
OCPE Programs are designed to enable pharmacists to adapt to changes in health care delivery, participate as integral members of the health care team, provide pharmacy care to a diverse underserved patient population and to serve as preceptors/role models for pharmacy students and residents. At its core, the OCPE is an important provider of no cost live Continuing Professional Education (CPE) to TUSP Faculty, TUSP mentors, and TUHS pharmacists.
