Tell us about yourself: I am from Delaware County PA and have been living in Philly since undergrad. At the pharmacy school I have enjoyed being involved in various organizations the school has to offer. I was recently an intern at J&J, and am continuing to gain experience in the industry as an extern now.
Why did you choose TUSP over other pharmacy schools? From what I heard about the school. Knowing TUSP has a great PharmD program was very important, but seeing that the school truly cares and wants to get to know you was special to me. It offers a great family type of feeling and great relationships are made between all the faculty, staff, and students.
What do you hope to do after graduation? I hope to work in the pharmaceutical industry in either Regulatory Affairs or Medical Affairs.
What's your favorite thing about pharmacy school? The people I have met and friends I have made
What's the hardest thing about pharmacy school and how do you deal with it? For me it was making time for myself and allowing my brain to forget about school, this is something I still struggle with but have gotten much better at! Keep up with hobbies you enjoy because burn out happens. The only way to truly bounce back is to spend time not thinking about school and all that it demands.
What do you like to do in your free time? Run, walk, gym, listen to music, try restaurants in the city, new coffee shops
What are you currently reading/watching/listening to? I listen to a lot of music and r&b is my favorite.
What advice do you have for prospective students? If you choose TUSP there are infinite ways to get involved and find areas of pharmacy you are passionate about. Get involved early to expose yourself to all the different organizations and opportunities. Networking is probably the most important for your career, and these orgs offer tons of networking opportunities!
