Current degree program: PharmD

Projected graduation year: 2026

Where did you grow up? South Jersey

Where did you complete your prerequisite courses? I earned a BS in Biology at Pennsylvania State University

Tell us about yourself: I’m passionate about advancing patient care through evidence-based medicine, interprofessional collaboration, and patient education. Outside of academics, I enjoy getting involved in student organizations and leadership opportunities that allow me to advocate for the pharmacy profession and support my peers. After graduation, I plan to pursue a pharmacy residency to continue developing my clinical skills and explore my interests in ambulatory care and hospital leadership/management.

Why did you choose TUSP over other pharmacy schools? TUSP's 124 year reputation brought me into the building. However, the small community feeling and opportunity to advance my leadership skills kept me interested while I decided where I would attend pharmacy school.

What do you hope to do after graduation? Complete a residency and specialize in either ambulatory care or hospital management/leadership.

Did you have experience working in a pharmacy before TUSP? Yes - Before applying to pharmacy school, I worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS. The pharmacists at the store I started in all went to Temple and they believed I would be a great fit.

What's your favorite thing about pharmacy school? My favorite thing about pharmacy school is that there are endless amounts of opportunities for learning and growth. My favorite thing about TUSP is how comfortable I feel in the building and the trust I can put into my professors.

What's the hardest thing about pharmacy school and how do you deal with it? The hardest part of pharmacy school is managing a work and school schedule without completely burning out. I had to work 20 plus hours a week during school to pay my bills, but I still tried to make sure my weekends were not overly consumed with school or work and made plans with family and friends in order to unwind.

What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy being active and participating in spin classes. I also enjoy cooking and trying new recipes.

What are you currently reading/watching/listening to? I am currently listening to the new Taylor Swift album The Life of a Showgirl

What advice do you have for prospective students? Take time for yourself and do not lose yourself in the grind of studying and working. Never give up.
