Current degree program: PharmD

Projected graduation year: 2027

Where did you grow up? Northeast PA - the Poconos

Where did you complete your prerequisite courses? Temple University - I completed the 3 + 4 program and graduated with my undergraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences my PY1 year!

Tell us about yourself: I'm originally from Northeast PA, but I've lived in Philly for the last 6 years. I'm really interested in critical care pharmacy. This past summer I had the opportunity to complete a mini-residency and I absolutely loved it! When I am not studying or at school you can find me running on the Schuylkill Trail.

Why did you choose TUSP over other pharmacy schools? I chose TUSP because of the warm and welcoming environment I encountered every time I visited the school. Temple is also located in a major city with lots of opportunity and potential.

What do you hope to do after graduation? I hope to complete a residency and then begin my career in an ICU.

Did you have experience working in a pharmacy before TUSP? Yes - I worked in a retail setting before starting pharmacy school. It helped me gain valuable skills that I still use today! It also provided me with a foundation before starting pharmacy school, almost like a preview of what was to come.

What's your favorite thing about pharmacy school? My favorite thing about pharmacy school is getting to learn everyday and then apply it to real world patient cases. We learn a lot of information throughout pharmacy school, and then seeing it real life makes me proud of all my hard work.

What's the hardest thing about pharmacy school and how do you deal with it? The hardest thing about pharmacy school for me was adjusting from undergraduate to graduate school. It was definitely a challenge at first but over time and with the support of my peers and professors, it became more manageable. Also, learning how to become a more organized person helped me navigate all the assessments my first year and now is something I have mastered in my third year.

What do you like to do in your free time? Running, cooking, and shopping

What are you currently reading/watching/listening to? The Lincoln Lawyer

What advice do you have for prospective students? Believe in yourself! You got this far, which is not easy, so be proud of yourself. Remember to work hard and invest in your pharmacy education. Be patient and kind to yourself! Good things take time, don't forget to enjoy the ride.
