Janet Malkowski began her career at Temple University School of Pharmacy in 2002 as an Administrative Specialist in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department. In addition to supporting the department, she collaborated with the Department of Pharmacy Practice, the Center for Pharmaceutical Health Services Research, and the school’s director of development. During this time, she also served as managing editor for the Journal of Pharmaceutical Finance, Economics and Policy (JPFEP).
In 2004, Janet transitioned to the Department of Continuing Pharmacy Education, where she partnered closely with the assistant dean for education on special projects and accreditation initiatives. She contributed to the 2004 Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Self-Study, the first of several comprehensive self-studies she supported for the School and department. Janet became an indispensable member of the ACPE Self-Study team, collating data and developing reports that supported continued accreditation of the Doctor of Pharmacy program, most recently completed in 2024.
Her role expanded over time, with promotions to administrative coordinator in 2015, manager of assessment & operations in 2018, and assistant director for accreditation, assessment and data in 2024. Throughout her tenure, Janet has supported numerous initiatives, committees, and leadership roles, demonstrating exceptional dedication and service to the school.
