James T. Doluisio, PhD, MS ’59

Dr. James Doluisio is a 1957 graduate of Temple University School of Pharmacy (TUSP). He earned his MS in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 1959 and his PhD from Purdue University in 1962. After holding faculty appointments at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and the University of Kentucky, he was named Dean of Pharmacy at the University of Texas in 1973, where he now holds the titles of Professor Emeritus and Dean Emeritus. Dr. Doluisio served actively at the national level, serving as President of both APhA and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.

The James T. Doluisio Regents Chair was established in his honor at the University of Texas. Dr. Doluisio has been a generous and loyal donor to TUSP’s annual fund.
