125 Heroes: Edith Rosato, RPh, IOM ’82

Edith Rosato

Edith Rosato, a TUSP graduate from 1982, most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Hemophilia of Georgia. Previously, she served as CEO and Board Chair of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and its foundation; President of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation (NACDSF); and as Senior Vice President for Pharmacy Affairs for NACDSF. She also held key positions with Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories and began her career with CVS, advancing from registered pharmacist manager to a corporate role at the company’s headquarters. She has served on the National Advisory Council at Virginia Commonwealth University and on the Board of Advisors for the Campbell University School of Pharmacy.

In 2009, the Temple University Alumni Association honored Ms. Rosato with the School of Pharmacy Gallery of Success Award, and Ms. Rosato funded a named endowed scholarship at the School in 2010.

Ms. Rosato served as Board Chair of the School of Pharmacy Board of Visitors for the past 10 years, never missing a meeting despite living outside the Greater Philadelphia Region.
