The Temple University School of Pharmacy launched a Student Influencer program in August 2021 to kick of the 2021-2022 Academic Year with reinvigorated social media energy. Third-year Doctor of Pharmacy student Alexis Vitale served as the school's first and only influencer through August 2022. The number of followers of the school's Instagram profile has grown by 30 percent since the program started.

In addition to promoting the Doctor of Pharmacy program, the Student Influencer Program aims to support the Profession of Pharmacy by showing the hard work and dedication that is required to become a pharmacist and the many positive ways in which pharmacy students and pharmacists serve their communities.

The new student influencers who joined for the Fall 2022 semester are first-year Doctor of Pharmacy students Lada Kolesnik and Sandy Nasr and second-year Doctor of Pharmacy student Lydia Tirfe.

Student influencers are self-nominated and must meet academic and social media eligibility criteria. Once selected, they are required to post original content on social media and share content posted by the school.
