MEL BRODSKY, PHARMD '66 NAMED 2021 SPROWLS LECTURE AWARDEE
On Tuesday, June 8 at 12:00 p.m., Mel Brodsky, BSPharm '66 will virtually present Community Pharmacy Going Forward as the 2021 Sprowls Lecture.
After a long career as a community pharmacy owner, Mel served as CEO of the Keystone Purchasing Alliance from 1997 - 2017. He continues to advocate for the profession locally and nationally as Executive Director of the Philadelphia Association of Retail Druggists.
The Sprowls Lecture honors Dean Joseph B. Sprowls (served 1950–1967) for his many contributions to our school, university and profession. The Temple University School of Pharmacy and the School of Pharmacy Alumni Association present the Sprowls Lecture Award annually to an outstanding individual who has achieved recognition within pharmacy for significant contributions to the profession as a distinguished practitioner, scientist or educator.
