Welcome School of Pharmacy Alumni Association Board Members
Congratulations to recently elected board members—Edward Casey, ’88, Marvin Mandel, ’77, Richard Pacitti, ’82 & ’95, Sejal Patel, ’08 and Tierra Ryan, 07 who will assume their official position in July 2017 and who will serve a 3-year term that will run through June 2020.
Mel Brodsky'66 received the J. Allen Duffield Pharmaceutical Industry Award, the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association Leadership Award at the recent PPA Annual Conference in Pocono Manor.

TUAA/TUSP is collaborating with Temple University Alumni Association on 2018 Global Days of Service Initiative! Below is information on the project:
FEATURE HEALTH INITIATIVE
Saturday, April 28th
Community Health Fair
Hosted by the Temple University Alumni Association and the College of Public Health
10:00 a.m. p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
STAR Complex - 1816 N. 15th St. Philadelphia, PA
Capacity: 200
Description: The Temple University College of Public Health, in conjunction with Aramark, The Urban League of Philadelphia, the National Kidney Foundation and Gift of Life Donor Program—the region’s nonprofit organ donation program—will be hosting a Community Health Fair to educate the community about kidneys, risk factors for kidney disease, and steps to take to keep kidneys healthy and reduce the risk of developing kidney disease. Participants are encouraged to take advantage of free educational materials and free screenings including a risk survey, body mass index (BMI) height and weight measurements, and blood pressure checks. They’ll also have the opportunity to speak with a healthcare professional. Volunteers will be helping set up and run the event to help support and provide these services to the attendees

Get Involved
The Alumni Association of the School of Pharmacy exists to promote a continuing alumni interest in the School and its students by supporting its aims, ideas and purpose. It helps with fundraising, participates in and organizes programs, lectures, and awards. It works with the School's administration to coordinate alumni and student activities. The Association not only supports the School, it keeps classmates in touch.
