Carly is currently a fourth-year student in the PharmD program at Temple University School of Pharmacy (TUSP). She is from Doylestown, Pennsylvania and has spent most of her life growing up in Philadelphia suburbs. Prior to her student pharmacist career, Carly received her Bachelor of Arts in Adult and Organizational Development at Temple University in 2015 while completing the Pre-Pharmacy Track. In addition to her academic experience, she is an intern in the inpatient pharmacy department at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and at Rite Aid Pharmacy.
While pursuing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree, Carly has served in many leadership roles, including Chapter President for TUSP’s American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP), Ambassador for the APhA Institute on Alcoholism and Drug Dependencies, delegate for TUSP’s Phi Lambda Sigma, Vice President for TUSP’s Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and Student Champion of the Organ Donor Awareness Challenge Workgroup with the American Society of Transplantation.
Carly plans to complete a residency training program following graduation to further develop her clinical skills, leadership abilities, and overall impact as an advocate for patients and fellow colleagues. She is passionate about building relationships with her patients to help them foster long-term growth and aspires to teach and support clinical professionals, students, and patients throughout her career.
