PhD & MS Degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences
The School of Pharmacy’s Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences offers concentrations in the areas of Medicinal Chemistry (drug discovery, design, synthesis, and evaluation), Pharmaceutics (drug delivery, pharmacokinetics and disposition) and Pharmacodynamics (mechanisms of drug action, pharmacogenomics, and proteomics).
Our specialized laboratories include the Moulder Center for Drug Discovery Research, the Jayne Haines Center for Pharmacogenomics and Drug Safety, and the CGMP Facility. We frequently partner on research with our neighbor institutions on the Temple University Health Sciences Center campus, including the Lewis Katz School of Medicine and Temple University Hospital.
Matriculation will put you in one of the most connected urban universities with access to the outstanding resources of Temple University and the pharmaceutical hub of Philadelphia’s tri-state area.
The majority of full-time graduate students are supported by teaching assistantships, research assistantships, or fellowships.
