I practice as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist at Temple University Medicine Group Practice Internal Medicine Clinic. Patients are referred to the pharmacy clinic by residents and attending doctors for anticoagulation monitoring, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes management, as well as for non-compliance counseling.  Fourth year pharmacy students and residents rotate thru this site and gain clinical experience in management of chronic diseases using collaborative practice agreements. At Temple University School of Pharmacy I teach second and third year pharmacy students in the area of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, angina, stroke and women's health.  I am the university coordinator for the PGY-1 ACME/Temple Community Residency and the residency director for the PGY-2 Temple University School of Pharmacy Ambulatory Care Residency.  My research interest include ambulatory care, cardiovascular disease, and women's health.
