Welcome to the Temple University School of Pharmacy. We are a group of individuals interacting in a nurturing, family-like environment for more than 120 years to provide our diverse student population with a world-class education. 

Through our Doctor of Pharmacy program, we are training the next generation of pharmacists to be leaders in all aspects of the profession. Our transformative classroom curriculum and hands-on clinical experiential training begin in the first year and culminate with advanced clinical experiences in a wide variety of national and international settings in the fourth and final year. 

Our proximity and relationships with the broad array of industry, research, clinical, and patient-facing settings in Philadelphia and the surrounding area offer unique opportunities for our students to explore the many facets of the worlds of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. As part of Temple's urban Health Sciences Center Campus and a Research 1 university, our students engage in interprofessional and multi-disciplinary activities and research, affording them the chance to differentiate their degrees. 

With more than 25 professional organizations, our students work directly in and for the community to support the health of our patients and advance medicine in environments that offer camaraderie, leadership training, and social interaction. There is ample opportunity to pursue research with our experienced, highly-awarded, acclaimed faculty utilizing advanced technology, instrumentation and real-life clinical settings. Our students present their research at local, national, and sometimes international scientific and professional conferences.
