Registration Procedures for New Students

Getting Started
How do you get started in our RAQA graduate program? Just register for a course. You do not need to apply formally to a certificate program or the MS.

How many courses should you take?
Working full-time? We suggest starting with just one course. After you get used to juggling work and school, you may consider taking two courses or more per semester.

Studying full-time? If you're a full-time graduate student, you must take at least 3 courses a semester.

Forms You'll Need
Submit 1) the correct registration form AND 2) a state residency form (listed above).

Registering for an online course?
Make sure you include
1) photocopies of your undergraduate and/or graduate transcripts,
2) a signed copy of your current resume,
3) a recent photograph (digital photos are fine).

If you’re an international student registering for an online course, you must also include
Photocopies of TOEFL or IELTS scores
A photocopy of a WES report.

Email (QARAREG@temple.edu) or fax (267.468.8565) all registration materials to the RAQA Office for processing.

Register Early
Registrations are processed on a first-come/first-served basis. Register early to save your spot in the course of your choice. Our staff will call you if there is a problem with your registration (such as missing paperwork) or if a class is closed. We will send you a confirmation when your registration is processed.

Tuition Bills Tuition & Fees
Temple uses electronic tuition bills. You will not receive a hard copy statement in the mail. Instead, you will receive a message on your TUmail account that your tuition statement is available with the due date. (If you miss the bill payment deadline, you will be charged a late fee.)

Fall tuition bills are due in early September.
Spring tuition bills are due in late January.
Summer tuition bills are due 2-3 weeks after your registration is processed in Banner.

Registration Procedures for Continuing Students

Continuing students should email () or fax (267.468.8565) registration forms to the RAQA Office. Make sure you use the correct form. There are different forms for on-campus courses and online courses. (See links at the top of this page.)

If you have completed 9 credits in one of our non-thesis graduate programs, please submit the Non-Matriculated Graduate Student Waiver Form to the RAQA Office. Sorry, but you cannot take any additional courses beyond the 9 credit limit unless you complete this form.
